The Democratic Schools Network (DSN) is the Council of Europe network of schools which uphold its values - human rights, democracy and the rule of law - in their daily practice, and work continually to create and sustain a democratic culture within their school.
The six main themes of the project “Free to Speak, Safe to Learn - Democratic Schools for All” are: Tackling discrimination, Making children's and students' voices heard, Dealing with propaganda, misinformation and fake news, Preventing violence and bullying, Addressing controversial issues, Improving well-being at school.
Ralleio GEL Thileon Peiraia became a member of DSN in November 2020 with the project “New steps on an old path: Interdisciplinary cross-curricular project to integrate Intangible Cultural Heritage element Rebetiko in the daily teaching practice”.
