The Council of Europe has developed a set of learning activities that may be used in primary and secondary education, all of which are based directly on the challenges raised by the COVID-19 pandemic. Each activity has been designed to foster a set of specific RFCDC competences, and all of the activities relate to one or more of the six themes of the Democratic Schools Network, namely: Tackling discrimination, Making children's and students' voices heard, Dealing with propaganda, misinformation and fake news, Preventing violence and bullying, Addressing controversial issues, Improving well-being at school.

As part of their English course, all B and C class students worked on two of the learning activities, “Take your time during Covid-19: a message to the future!” https://rm.coe.int/rfcdc-take-your-time-web/1680a0a614  and “Ideal online class during Covid-19” https://rm.coe.int/rfcdc-ideal-online-class-web/1680a0a5fa. The lessons took place in January 2021 by Ralleio DSN coordinator Ms K. Christodoulou (English Teacher), who also informed all Ralleio teachers of the learning activities and their connection to the curricular subjects.
