The Greek Chairmanship of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers and the Council of Europe’s Education Department organized an online Meeting of Experts on 30 October.

This meeting of the Council of Europe’s Education Policy Advisers Network (EPAN) - on invitation only – took place back-to-back with the Informal Meeting of Ministers of Education of 29 October, providing a framework for an in-depth discussion about the conclusions of the Informal Meeting, namely on:

“The education response to the COVID-19 crisis: the right to quality education in times of a pandemic and its challenges” and “Utilising education as a tool for promoting awareness of cultural heritage at risk from climate change in a culture of democracy”.

Ralleio project entitled “New steps on an old path: Interdisciplinary cross-curricular project to integrate Intangible Cultural Heritage element Rebetiko in the daily teaching practice”, was presented as good educational practice in the framework of the 6th session of the meeting on the topic of Cultural heritage awareness as part of a culture of democracy in schools by Ralleio project coordinator Ms K. Christodoulou.
