The 16th Student Conference of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network in the Prefecture of Attica was held at Arsakeio Classical Lyceum in Psychiko on the 25th and 26th of February 2016. The subject of the 16th Student Conference was ?Education towards Sustainability. Good Practices for environmental protection, social cohesion and economic sustainability?.

Our school participated with a group of 10 students, namely Ms Maria Therianou, Vasiliki Chani, Iris-Stavroula Iordanidou, Vasiliki-Olga Kakara, Christina Samarika, Anastasia Paraskevopoulou, Anna Birbilopoulou, Vera-Eleni Pardou, Evangelia- Vasiliki Anastasakou and Georgia Tsafou.

Ms Haralambia Kaneletopoulou (Greek Language Teacher) and Ms Katerina Christodoulou (EFL Teacher) were responsible for the coordination and the preparation of Ralleion team and accompanied the students to the Conference on both days. Most of the relevant material for the preparation of the team was supplied by the Director of Ralleio, Mr Dimitris Kalaitzidis, PhD in School Geography and Environmental Education.

The artistic participation of our school was a short film depicting our many good practices in the field of Education for Sustainability. We would like to thank Mr P. Markopoulos (Biology Teacher) for his indispensable technical assistance.
