unesco 2531 5 2020Ralleio theatrical performance of Aristophanes’ “Ecclesiazousae/ Assembly Women” was selected to represent Greece as good practice in the celebration of UNESCO ASPnet International Arts Education Week. The performance was directed by Dr Maria Panagiotopoulou (Greek language teacher- Theatrologist) and the text was adapted by Mr Dimitris Christopoulos (Greek language teacher).

Ralleio contribution was published on UNESCO ASPnet website as well as in ASPnet Newsletter “International Arts Education Week”- Issue 8, 25 May 2020, which is dedicated to highlighting a selection of inspiring practices from the ASPnet community showing that learning in and through the arts contributes to Global Citizenship Education (GCED), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Cultural Diversity and Heritage Education and, thus, to SDG 4.7 (by 2030 ensure all learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including among others through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development).
