The subject was inspired by B class Modern Greek Literature and in particular the novel ?The Life and Times of Alexis Zorbas? by Nikos Kazantzakis. The ideas of the novel and their comparison to those of the famous film were the stimuli for a series of theatrical improvisations which activated the students towards this direction. It should be mentioned that the majority of the participants attended a parallel Cultural Program on creative reading and writing coordinated by Mr Dimitris Christopoulos (Greek Language and Literature Teacher). The rehearsals for the performance started in October 2016 and resulted in the two performances on the 5th and 6th May 2016 in Kostarakos theatre which, we are proud to say, was full on both nights. The performance was also presented on the 15th of April 2016 in the framework of the 10th Pireas School Theatre Festival.
Coordinating teachers: Dr Maria Panagiotopoulou and Mr Dimitris Christopoulos.
