On Friday, March 14th, our school had the pleasure of hosting sign language interpreter Ms Sophia Roboli, who visited at the invitation of Ralleio Greek Language teacher Ms Angeliki Haida. The visit was part of the Greek language textbook unit on social racism.
Ms. Roboli engaged in a discussion with students from classes B3 and B4 in the school library, focusing on how they can understand sign language and, more importantly, how they can better comprehend the people who use it. The students learned how they can meaningfully assist these individuals and contribute to a fairer world, free from discrimination.
We sincerely thank Ms. Roboli.
