In the framework of Axis 1 of the Evaluation of Educational Work of School Units (Implementation of innovative teaching practices) and on the occasion of World Poetry Day, a performance poetry workshop was held on Tuesday 19 March with the participation of Ralleio class A5.
The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Georgia Velivasaki, poet-performer and lecturer at the Postgraduate Program "Creative Writing" of the University of Western Macedonia. During the first teaching hour the students were introduced theoretically to the secrets of performance poetry, while during the second teaching hour they wrote poems, practiced reciting and finally created a live performance.
Five Ralleio language teachers attended the workshop in order to familiarize themselves with the Performative Poetry method and how it can be integrated into the teaching practice.
