This year’s B’ class educational trip took place from the 9th to the 12th of April 2022. Students and teachers visited famous landmarks of Northern Peloponnese.
On the first day, after visiting the Archaeological site and Museum of Ancient Olympia, they were accommodated at the hotel in the village of Elaionas, where they spent the evening. On the next day, the group boarded the special train crossing the gorge of river Vouraikos from the village of Diakopto to the historical village of Kalavryta. After enjoying one of the most scenic routes in Greece, students and teachers visited the Kalavryta Holocaust Municipal Museum and spent the rest of the day at the village. On the last day, they departed for the city of Patras where they were guided to the Archaeological Museum. They had the opportunity to admire findings and exhibits dating from 3000 BCE to the 4th century CE. They went on to visit the wine producing factory ACHAIA CLAUSS where the famous Mavrodafne wine is produced. They spent the rest of the day at the center of the city and departed for Pireas in the afternoon. The group returned filled with wonderful memories despite the difficulties due to COVID restrictions.
