Ralleio Theatrical Team, celebrating the fifth consecutive year of their performances, presented Federico Garcia Lorca’s “The house of Bernarda Alba” on 21,22 & 24,25-4-2018 at the theater of the school. The 20 student-actresses, after hours of rehearsals every Sunday during the school year, attained excellent portrayals of Lorca’s characters and communicated to the audience the cruel, inhumane atmosphere of the conservative family and society in which desires are sacrificed to superstitions and stereotypes.

The performance was directed by Dr Maria Panagiotopoulou, Greek language and Drama teacher. The adaptation of the original text was done by Mr Dimitris Christopoulos, Greek language teacher and fiction writer.
