We also watched a representation of the sky and the constellations over Ypati at the dome of astroschool.

On the second day, we visited the Centre for Environmental Education in Stylida where we watched an impressive presentation on climate change. The students asked a lot of questions which were fully answered by Mr Koutmanis and Dr Kalaitzidis. They were then divided into two groups and visited the exhibition of fossils and rocks that were found in the area in the past. Finally, they had the opportunity to use stereoscopes through which they could examine flower pollen, rock structure and leaves from herbs. The students were also pleasantly surprised by the Mayor of the town who welcomed them warmly.

After the visit to the Centre for Environmental Education, the students took off for the new Municipal Drainage Facility of Lamia in order to be guided to the control center, the amphitheater and the meetings room. It should be noted that the construction of the building was based on many different innovative methods. In the afternoon the students went sightseeing in the center of the city of Lamia.

On the way back to Athens, they stopped at the famous historical site of Thermopylae and visited the interactive facilities of the site.
