Ralleio theatrical group presented this year?s production of Aristophane?s comedy ?Assembly Women/Ecclesiazousae? at the theatre of the school on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of March. The adaptation of the text in modern Greek was done by Mr D. Christopoulos, writer, Greek Language and Literature Teacher at Ralleio and the play was directed by Dr M. Panagiotopoulou, Theatrologist, Greek Language and Literature Teacher at Ralleio. All the actresses and production assistants were A and B class Ralleio students who had been tirelessly rehearsing every Sunday afternoon since September in order to present this wonderful performance in a full house on both nights. The performances were staged in the framework of the celebration of the 160th anniversary.

It should be noted that the theatre group will travel to Italy from 27th to 31st March 2017 in order to present the performance at the ancient theater of Taormina, Sicily.

Congratulations Theatre Group! Way to go!
