We are proud to announce that Ralleio Lykeio participates in a new UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) project supported by Japanese Funds-in-Trust. The project is part of the wider UNESCO initiative ?Today for Tomorrow: Coordinating and Implementing the Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development? which focuses on the implementation of the five Priority Action Areas of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The ASPnet component belongs to Priority Area 2: ?Transforming learning and training environments?. The two-year project seeks to take existing activities in selected ASPnet schools in 25 countries to another level by using the ?whole-school approach?. Greece is one of these countries and participates with 15 selected primary and secondary education schools, one of which is RalleioLykeio.

Ralleio Team is coordinated by the Director Dr D. Kalaitzidis, who was specially trained by UNESCO in Paris and Dakar, and Ms K. Christodoulou, EFL Teacher, who acts as a facilitator of the program. Greek Language and Literature Teacher Ms A. Keskesiadou is also a member of the team.
