The two-day seminar entitled ?Whole-school approach for climate change? for ASPnet UNESCO Climate Change Schools took place at the Ministry of Education and at Ralleio Lykeio on the 17th and the 18th of February 2017. On the first day at the Ministry, the participating directors and teachers from selected ASPnet UNESCO schools from Athens, Salonica, Serres and Lesvos attended presentations on education for climate change and exchanged good school practices. On the second day at Ralleio Lykeio, the participants attended presentations on whole-school approach, the tools for its implementation at school and workshops for directors and teachers of primary and secondary education.

Ralleio Lykeio participated with the Director Dr Dimitris Kalaitzidis, trained trainer in Paris and Dakar, who presented the tools for the implementation of Education for Climate Change and coordinated the workshop for secondary education, and Ms Katerina Christodoulou, EFL Teacher, who presented the way in which the whole school approach has been implemented in Ralleio since 2011.

The two-day seminar was organized by the Ministry of Education, the National Committee for UNESCO and Ralleio Lykeio.
