In the framework of Ralleio 160th Anniversary, we organized a celebration for the centennial of poet Takis Sinopoulos on Saturday 11 February at the amphitheater of the school.
Mr Dimitris Christopoulos (Greek Language and Literature Teacher and Writer) coordinated the event. Ms Maria Panagiotopoulou (Greek Language and Literature Teacher and Theatrologist) and the students of Ralleio theatrical group dramatized Sinopoulos? poems. The main introduction into the work of Sinopoulos was done by Mr Xanthos, Poet, Chairman of Takis Sinopoulos Foundation and Assistant Professor of Physics at the National University of Athens while poems were read by actress Ms Sophia Manesi and students of Ralleio theatrical group. The director Mr Kalaitzidis sang Mikis Theodorakis? song ?Milo? accompanied by A class student Ms S. Kamakari at the piano.
It was a beautiful, mystic evening at Ralleio.
