Our school garden is mainly made up by Mediterranean plants such as oregano, lavender, thyme and peppermint. It was initially planted by the construction company of the new building as a present to the school community. We would like to thank Ms Fani Vlachou Panagiotidou, former associate of the Biology Department of the University of Thessaloniki, for helping us choose the right plants.

Before the Christmas holidays, the Garden Team uprooted the aubergine and tomato plants of our vegetable garden and placed them in our compost bin, which was a present by NGO Aeiforum. We will soon proceed to plant spring vegetables.
