A and B class students visited the Archaeological Museum of Athens and the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens respectively on the 26th of November 1015 in the framework of the subject of History.

At the Archaeological Museum of Athens, the students were guided in 4 groups by professional guides and were able to enjoy the exhibits of Greek and Roman antiquity. The Archaeological Museum of Athens is one of the best in the world and our students visit every year. The visit was organized and coordinated by Ms Anastasia Keskesiadou (Greek Language Teacher).

At the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens, the students had the opportunity to admire exquisite works of art such as icons, sculptures, paintings, ceramics, manuscripts, woodwork and mosaics from all the periods of Byzantine history in the permanent exhibition of the Museum. The students were guided by Ms Georgia Kitsaki (Greek Language Teacher) who had previously attended a relevant seminar at the Museum. The visit was organized and coordinated by Ms Georgia Kitsaki and Ms Aikaterini Pedonomou (Greek Language Teachers).
