Our B class students had the opportunity to meet actor Dimitris Mavropoulos and discuss with him about the particular nature of theatrical texts, on 11th March 2014 in the framework of the subject of European Literature. Students N. Velliou, A. Oikonomou and C. Nisyraiou introduced the actor and set the subject of the discussion. Mr Mavropoulos focused on the differences between the theatrical and the purely literary texts and the techniques actors use to approach them. The students asked questions about the relation of the actor to the text and about acting and its professional perspective.
