Each year the Euroscola program attracts visiting groups of secondary school students from EU member countries to the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The aim of Euroscola is to provide young Europeans with an insight into the work and role of the European Parliament. The event for the year 2013 will take place on 14 February. The selection criteria for the visiting students are the essay writing competition, fluency in two foreign languages (English and French preferably) and the students? performance in the previous school year. Seventy nine students from eight different schools of the area of Pireas participated in the written part of the competition held at our school on 11 December 2012.

Mr D. Tsilalis, Assistant Director, Mr P. Zoumblios (Science Teacher) and Ms K. Christodoulou (EFL Teacher) coordinated the examination.
