The students of classes A2, A4 and B3, accompanied by their EFL Teachers Ms M. Eliopoulou, T. Goda and K. Christodoulou respectively, visited the exhibition ?PICTURING AMERICA? which was organized by the Cultural Section of the American Embassy in cooperation with the Prefecture of Piraeus. This is a traveling exhibition of 40 framed reproductions of significant American art (paintings, fine crafts, sculpture, photography and architecture). It offers students teachers and citizens the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of American history, arts, literature and civics through the study and understanding of its art.

The students were guided interactively through the works of art by representatives of the American Embassy in English, which they thoroughly enjoyed as it gave them the opportunity to use English outside the classroom.
