ΡΑΛΛΕΙΟ ΓΕΝΙΚΟ ΛΥΚΕΙΟ ΘΗΛΕΩΝ ΠΕΙΡΑΙΑ - 3rd October 2016: National Physical Education Day

In the framework of the National Physical Education Day, Ralleio was proud to organize a series of lectures, activities and matches.

The day started with a short speech on the subject by the Director Dr Dimitris Kalaitzidis. We then watched a table tennis match between C class student N. Mytakidou and B class student G. Chatzaki , who won the match.

After that, we attended lectures at the school theatre by the following speakers: Ms Alexandra Stamatopoulou, Paralympic Medal Winner in Rio de Janeiro 2016 Games, in 50m and 100m backstroke and in medley, Ms Anthi Zoumpliou, Volleyball athlete, Mr Pericles Iakovidis, Olympic Medal Winner in 400 m hurdles, Ms Afroditi Nezou, PE Teacher, Dietician-Nutritionist.

All the lectures were very interesting, which was made evident by the many questions posed by our students.

Next there were two volleyball matches. The teams were: A and C class students against B class students, who won the match Students against Teachers, which ended in a draw.

The day ended with the awarding of prizes to the winners. We would like to thank all the speakers and the students but, most of all, Mr Panagiotis Kagidis, PE Teacher, who organized and coordinated all the activities.
