In the framework of the subject of A and B class Biology, Dr P. Konstantoulakis, Biologist- Geneticist, was invited to the school to talk to the students about sexually transmitted diseases and their prevention, focusing mainly on HIV and HPV viruses. His lively interactive presentation of the subject was followed by an even livelier question-and-answer session during which the students asked more specific questions about the diseases and their prevention, pregnancy prevention and contraception and the responsible use of condoms during sexual intercourse.

The event was organised by Mr Georgios Katopodis, Biology Teacher at Ralleio and Secretary General of the Panhellenic Association of Bioscientists.
