The 19th Student Conference of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in the Prefecture of Attica was held at the Greek-French School “Jeanne d’ Arc” on the 21st and 22nd of February 2019. The subject of the 19th Student Conference was “Sustainable Development: We envision the future by understanding the 17 UN Development Goals: the role of youth in implementing the goals, the role of partnerships in development and the implementing institutions in Greece”.
Our school participated with a group of 10 students, four of whom are also members of ROOTS team, namely S. Kazala, D. Vouterou and L. Vika. The students analyzed the subject in committees with their fellow students from 22 public and private schools from the area of Attiki.
The artistic participation of our school was a short theatrical play depicting the subject, directed by Maria Panagiotopoulou (Theatrologist), member of ROOTS pedagogical team.
Ms Katerina Christodoulou, ROOTS Coordinator at Ralleio, Ms Haralambia Kaneletopoulou, Member of ROOTS pedagogical team were responsible for the coordination and the preparation of Ralleion team and accompanied the students to the Conference on both days.
